Mission Statement

The OPRC is a ministry that provides hope, compassionate support and practical help to women facing an unexpected pregnancy or who are struggling with post abortion stress.

We offer educational information on abstinence, pre-natal development, adoption and abortions from a Christian perspective to our clients. Our desire is to share the love and grace of Jesus Christ to those facing a crisis.

What Are We About?

The centre opened their doors to women of our community in December 1988. Young women have come to us for pregnancy tests, counseling, maternity clothing, infant wear, and baby food. They also come for coffee and a visit to keep in touch. The centre is a non-profit charitable organization with a board of directors, director, and volunteers.

All of the Pregnancy Resource Centre’s services are provided free of charge. All information is kept confidential to the full extent allowable by the law. The information provided at OPRC is provided by trained staff and volunteers. We are not a substitute for professional counseling. We are not a medical clinic and we do not offer medical service, counsel or advice. Although we provide lab-quality pregnancy tests that are more than 99% accurate, all pregnancies should be confirmed by a doctor. We are not an adoption agency. We do not provide or refer for abortion.
